Not everyone loves a rigid snapback, so OTTO CAP rolled out the COMFY FIT version. The 39-167 is a high crown mesh back trucker, but with stretchable mesh and a COMFY FIT sweatband.

That means the cap adapts to larger heads or anyone who hates that pinching feeling from stiff plastics.

The foam front is thicker than standard, so embroidery and heat transfers pop cleanly and the rope is a delicate 2mm accent. It’s subtle but noticeable, and it keeps the retro rope nod without distracting from the overall sleekness.

9505-1: Rope on a Flex Bill

Here’s where things really get modern. The 9505-1 is part of OTTO CAP’s OTTO SNAP line, and it features a polyester pongee fabric, laser-cut perforated back, and a flexible visor that bends flat or curved depending on preference.

Unlike truckers or foam fronts, this hat has an unstructured crown with a buckram flap, which gives it a more street-ready silhouette.

The rope here is 5mm thick, which makes it more of a design statement than a small detail. Paired with the flex bill and TPU closure, it feels like a fresh reimagining of the rope hat.
